Really surprised. Food was lovely, nicest burger I've had in a while. Chocolate fudge cake was amazing and huge portion. Staff very friendly. Definitely be back
Vegan review: I was struggling to find somewhere that had vegan options on the menu for a family meal! The menu had a dedicated vegan and vegetarian section. There were 3 vegans, we opted for the lentil pie with chips and curry sauce for 1 extra. They ran out of the lentil pie and only had 2 portions left but said we could have a vegetable bake. We decided to split everything 3 ways which they were happy to do for us. The food was actually better than I expected! For dessert I had the rhubarb and custard cake which was served with lemon sorbet. The lemon sorbet wasnt nice at all and didnt go with the cake, the cake was good though.

Nice local pub, good to watch sport with friendly atmosphere. Food just typical pub grub. H x
There is a very good selection of alcohol and the food is cheap and cheerful. I was also happy to find that they allow dogs in (good for a stop on Sunday walks). The one thing that greatly lets the pub down is the staff. The majority of them are just rude and appear to not care and not want to be there. This is a huge downfall as everything else the pub offers is great.
