Best fish n chips bring back childhood memories as to when ud have fish n chips ..staff are amazingly friendly im a regular now ....better than bannys greesy fish ANYDAY!

Walking past at lunchtime the smell of frying fish and chips from the shop enticed us in for a bag of chips, served very cheerily despite the small order. Cooked freshly, piping hot, quite thinly cut and very crisp chips.We decided to cancel our dinner reservation that evening at a nearby restaurant, and went back for haddock and chips instead. Same quality as before, cooked to order and again piping hot, crisp chips and crisp batter, well cooked fish. Well priced, just over 15 for two haddock, one chips and mushy peas,Visit Holt twice a year, and will most definitely return every time.Have seen fatuous remarks previously on this website relating to the staff waiting whilst the chef cooks the food. They are both very attentive, friendly, engage customers immediately upon entering the shop, take orders and despatch food promptly. Hard to see what else they can do whilst waiting for the food to cook, which does not take long.Very highly recommended.
